Among other things we support market infrastructure such as Exchanges, MTFs/ATFs, Clearing Houses/Central Counterparties and Central Securities Depositories as well as their clients, such as Banks, Brokers, Funds, Custodians, General Clearers to develop and implement fresh strategic perspectives in a fast-changing economic, political, regulatory and technology environment.

Michael Wellenbeck
Managing Director | Founding Partner
Michael has 20+ years of experience in the Exchange industry both as executive responsible for defining and implementing strategy and also as programme director responsible for managing change across organisations. He has led teams all over Europe, in the US and in the Middle East. In addition to his subject matter expertise regarding Exchanges, MTFs /ATFs, CCPs and CSDs he has a very strong background in working and negotiating in cross-cultural environments. He is co-author of several patents in the clearing space and co-founder of Qyte, a start-up providing advanced data mining solutions leveraging self-learning algorithms and neuronal networks. Michael holds a master’s degree in business administration from RWTH Aachen University (Diplom-Kaufmann).
Michael is passionate about the need for market infrastructure to serve the real economy by facilitating safe, secure and transparent allocation of funds, while operating efficiently and creating value for users, shareholders and the local communities.
